So. . . This Is New York?
So. . . This is it. It’s Officially Day One. And we have started off things right. We arrived in the City last night around 5ish and got off of the bus with all of our stuff. As soon as we had checked ourselves in to the hostel, I grabbed a group of people and went down to Central Park with my frisbee (we still had about an hour of daylight left, and I was ready to move around after about 10 hours on a cramped bus).
After that we came back to the hostel and ate some Ne w York Style Pizza, with slices as big as your face. All of the students are here that are going to be and there are probably around 100 students total. Josh and I are the only 2 from CSU in our room, and we’re with a group of guys from UNC Chapel Hill. All of which are tight. We spent most of the night last night showing off videos and pictures to each other. These are some pictures taken by a guy named Anderson. . . pretty legit! I can assure you we will be working together at many times throughout this week.
so there is my update for ya’ll. Today we have a orientation on what’s gonna happen this week. then we are going to Redeemer Presbyterian, the same church that Tim Keller preachers at, but of course, he’s in London. . . lame. anyways, here are a couple pictures just for ya’ll. I hope you have a wonderful week, and please continue to pray for us!!!
